January 31, 2008 —Bank of America Charitable Foundation Awards CHOICES Education Group Its Largest Donation Ever For Teen Dropout Prevention Program
The CHOICES Education Group, a Seattle-based non-profit, announced today it has received a $125,000 grant from the Bank of America Charitable Foundation—the largest donation CHOICES Education Group has received since its inception in 1985. Using bank employees as volunteer presenters, the grant will be used to deliver the CHOICES program to more than 30,000 middle school students nationwide.

September 17, 2007—SEATTLE SEAHAWK MARCUS TRUFANT TACKLES DROPOUT CONCERNS WITH “TACKLES FOR TEENS” CHALLENGE. Seattle Seahawks cornerback Marcus Trufant and his Trufant Family Foundation announced today they will partner with CHOICES Education Group to help keep teens in school. The two non-profit organizations will collaborate on an NFL season-long campaign to raise public awareness and funding to support CHOICES and the Trufant Family Foundation.

July 17, 2007—BANKS GAIN CRA RECOGNITION WHILE HELPING TEENS
MAKE THE RIGHT EDUCATION CHOICES.
The CHOICES Education Group, a Seattle-based social enterprise, announced today that banks are engaging its CHOICES dropout prevention workshop as a CRA qualified activity, further helping them meet their community involvement goals and gain recognition as good corporate citizens. (read more)

June 14, 2007—CHOICES EDUCATION GROUP LAUNCHES NEW SITE WITH ONLINE DONATION CAPABILITIES. The CHOICES Education Group, a Seattle-based social enterprise, announced today it launched a new website to provide online donation capabilities. March 20, 2007—CHOICES EDUCATION GROUP RECEIVES $30,000 GRANT FROM NORDSTROM. The CHOICES Education Group, a Seattle-based social enterprise, announced today it has received a $30,000 grant from Nordstrom, bringing 2007’s total corporate grants to $180,000. Nordstrom has designated this year’s funding for use in their Midwest Region (Illinois, Indiana, Kansas, Michigan, Minnesota, Missouri and Ohio) and their South Region (Florida, Georgia and Texas). March 6, 2007—CHOICES EDUCATION GROUP RECEIVES $150,000 IN GRANTS FROM BANK OF AMERICA AND UPS. The CHOICES Education Group, a Seattle-based social enterprise, announced today it has received a $100,000 grant from the Bank of America Foundation, the charitable arm of Bank of America (NYSE: BAC) and a $50,000 grant from the UPS Foundation, the charitable arm of UPS (NYSE: UPS). The Bank of America Foundation grant will be used to deliver CHOICES in middle schools using their own employees as volunteer presenters, and the UPS Foundation grant will be used to deliver the CHOICES program using volunteers from local Chambers of Commerce and Rotary Clubs. February 6, 2007—SHAUN ALEXANDER SCORES BIG WITH CHOICES “Go Shaun Go” CHALLENGE. Seattle Seahawk Shaun Alexander scored big with his second annual CHOICES “Go Shaun Go” Challenge, raising over $43,000 for the CHOICES Education Group. During the 2006/2007 National Football League season, Alexander gained 1,133 yards, rushing and receiving, and received an average of $38 in donations for each yard gained.

August 31, 2006—INDEPENDENCE CHAMBER FINALIST FOR CORPORATE CITIZENSHIP AWARD. The Business Civic Leadership Center, a 501(c)3 affiliate of the United States Chamber of Commerce, today announced that the Independence Chamber of Commerce in Independence, Missouri, has been honored as a finalist for a Corporate Citizenship Award. The Independence Chamber is a finalist in the category of U.S. Community Service.
